Hey, it’s National Sandwich Day (Nov. 3)! I’ll bet some of you nearly let the occasion slip by unnoticed. (Who makes up these days anyway)? The Chicks take this opportunity to wax nostalgic about school lunches, sharing with friends, and lunchbox treats. So, PB&J — yay or nay?
Halloween is almost here, which means stocking up on bite-sized candy bars, coming up with last-minute costumes, and picking out scary movies to watch on Netflix. As we get ready for ghosts, goblins, and sugar comas, we’re taking a moment to think about Halloweens past and share some of our favorite Halloween memories.
We’re still celebrating the launch of Ellen’s third novel, A Cajun Christmas Killing! Since the book revolves around the Cajun tradition of bonfires on the levee, we’ve decided to share our own favorite holiday traditions.
What were your favorite childhood books, the ones you cherished and read a thousand times and still remember vividly today?
This week, the Chicks are going deep as we talk about … bucket lists! Okay, so it turns out none of us actually has a little piece of paper enumerating everything we hope to accomplish before we kick the proverbial bucket. But we are ready to share some of our lifetime must-do’s, as well as some of our already-dids. What about you, readers? What’s on your theoretical bucket list?
